But still tempting, dammit! Also, just heard the CCM 450 is being imported to the states early next year. http://www.ccm-motorcycles.com . I know, I know, better off getting something used already here. Totally agree. But nice to see manufacturers are stepping up.

Training

I'm about to do a little training for WARPED. Where to start? Where to start?

I'm a big IPA guy but found the Stochasticity a bit disappointing. Old Godfather looks good. I'll have to track that down and give it a try. I have the little brother bottle of the Triple Karm which goes down tonight. One of my favorites. Enjoy, Scott!

I disagree with this statement! Me and my 3 brewer buds are pretty far from breaking even versus buying retail beer.

I'm personally a fan of that grapefruit IPA. Those grapefruit flavors make that double IPA go down much faster.

Tim and I went to Backstage in Culver recently, and they had these suckers for $8 ($7 during happy hour). It was pretty much the best beer option for the evening. My hangover was more awful than usual so that's a good sign for me!

Yeah, gotta say I was a bit disappoint with the Stochasticity, not much grapefruit flavor.

The Karmeliet was a recommendation from Lalo of 800 Days Around the World fame. That's up next with dinner. Can't wait!!

The barleywine, that's gonna need to wait for another night. I'm training for WARPED, not recreating it.

Couple things here:

1) You guys have destroyed me on this thread for my cider enjoyment, but there's a couple of people here talking about grapefruit flavored beer?! Really guys!?

2) SQ Beemer: You're not breaking even because you're brewing beer. Beer is cheaper to buy on the market because it's popular. My first mead brewing paid for itself and the equipment. Retail, mead is really expensive right now (11-13 bucks a bottle). Cider is probably just above a break even, haven't done the numbers yet like I did with the mead, but the stuff I'm drinking right now seems to have a higher alcohol content than the retail stuff, and there's of course a value to that .

I personally am not a fan of fruity alcohol of any kind...

That was a good year! It was WARPED V if my math is right. I think that's the year Ms. Bianca made the flank steak with chimchuri sauce and we got fucked up on Cabo Waboritas.
