Close. A few pics in a bit. I have to screen them for ban-able content.

Considerably taller. I can barely get a toe down.

Scott and Devin showed up a bit after 10 and we got to work. My understanding is Devin drove and Scott rode bitch.

We got the tea made and started adding the malt.

Scott was stirring and wiping Devin's dingle berries.

They switched off and Devin returned the favor later but no pic of that.

We started talking whiskey and Scott found a shot glass that worked for him and tried some Bulleit and Macallan that he liked.

We managed to stumble through the rest of it and ended up with what we hope will be some tasty Barleywine. If it isn't it's all their fault. If it's good I succeeded despite their best efforts.

I don't know how much beer I'll be able to carry on that thing. Maybe I'll just order a keg at Kern River Brewing Company, so I can ride as much dirt as possible en route to the rally. I will still bring a CO2 cylinder and keg tap if I go that route, so at least we wouldn't be putting air on the beer. I'm not an animal, after all.

im guessing that's a 690. but what kind of fairing and tanks?

The licensed KTM smoker was sweet though too.

The guy from whom I bought it put all sorts of fun things on it. It has the full Rally Raid Evo 2 kit. It's on the heavy side for a dirt bike, and is tall as hell, partially due to the uber pricey suspension that he put on it. I haven't even ridden it off road yet, but should have a chance to do so next weekend.

Yeah, I just sold that thing (to fund the 690). The good news is that I sold it to a buddy and I have first dibs if/when he sells it. It shall be mine again....

In the defense of Devin and me, I would like to point out that more than once when we were reading the recipe, Shunka was heard to utter the phrase, "That's science. I'm a fucking artist." I hope his (our?) art tastes good.

Not that you FF's wouldn't drink it anyways!!

Shunka thanks for having us over to make beer and for the door prizes we took home. Hoping to try them out today!

Nope, but maybe when I load it up with gear I'll be able to reach the ground.
