Like what the Backcountry Discovery Route organization is doing? Have you been able to utilize the awesome Free GPS tracks in Colorado, Utah, Washington, etc? Here is your chance to give something back! Join the BDR team, other industry professionals and ADV enthusiasts, and help raise funds required to continue to create new routes and preserve riding opportunities for the ADV community.
Backcountry Discovery Routes is a 501c (4) non-profit organization whose mission is to establish and preserve off-highway routes for dual-sport and adventure motorcycle travel. Through education, advocacy, and promotion of responsible motorcycle travel, BDR seeks to preserve backcountry motorcycling opportunities for generations to come.
BDR works with forest service, land managers, and agencies responsible for public land to keep trails and remote roads open for motorcycling. Through careful investment of funds and resources, BDR is able to map new routes, provide free GPS tracks and advice, create photo and video archives of the routes, and educate the motorcycle community about managed travel on public lands.
Backcountry Discovery Routes' goal is to create a new Backcountry Discovery Route each year for the Adventure Community. For each BDR route, a full-length documentary DVD, a Butler motorcycle map, and Free GPS tracks are produced.
Since 2010, Backcountry Discovery Routes has inspired thousands of people -- seasoned adventure riders and those new to the sport -- to take advantage of the riding opportunities available in the United States.
This special event will take place at The Boyd Ranch, a private 160 acres ranch in the middle of the Arizona desert with the Hassayampa River running through it.
Note: Tent Camping is available on site with no reservations needed. If you do not wish to camp, there are two options. You may bring a motorhome or trailer and camp at the event, but there are no hook-ups, so its considered primitive camping. Or you may stay at one of the four motels in Wickenburg. (Motel rooms are not included in the registration fee.)
Due to restrictions from the Boyd Ranch, we can not allow any ATV’s, UTV’s or dirt bikes. All motorcycles must be licensed, street legal, and dual-sport or adventure type.
Tickets to attend the event are $785 per person, and space is limited (45 riders max). To make your reservation, email
The deadline to book your tickets is January 15, 2014.
You can pay with a credit card over the phone (add $35 processing fee for credit card transactions), or send a check to:
