oops. 250 total miles from FC.

ride whatcha got. little bike, big bike. no one cares. just ride.

fuel is always an issue with larger loops, plan accordingly.

no hair dye needed.

950 carries 8.5 gallons... 37 mpg freeway. Comfortable around 210 miles a tank with some 50/50 desert type offroading. Is there a fuel stop somewhere before 210 miles?

I'm talking from FC doing the loop and straight return. But I guess you could include Panamint.

I think it has to do with riding with the AC turned all the way up and the windows down.

With the stock I get 100max in baja or any all off road conditions for that matter, with powercells 5 gal im guessing 150. Of course conditions will dictate mileage regardless, having no idea of these routes you guys talk about I'm pretty much guesstimating.

I'm good with all of that, except I'm arriving on Friday.
So if you need resupply, you have two days to figure it out and let me know before I leave Vegas.

Man those SEs are gas hogs, I get 200+ out of my LC4 with 4.75 gal.

I'm kinda excited to see what I get with the 6.6 on the 450.

The 3.1 gets me to 150 if not riding like a total idiot (well at times) in tard livery. Hopefully that means 300 with the big mamba jamba on there- but dunno what the dirt will do to economy- I suspect it will be worse.

6.6 tank on my 525 gets around 250+
Steel Pass eats up the mpg's.

there is no gas on that loop. unless you get H8chains to wait at the Saline Warm Springs with beer and gas.

I was hoping you'd chime in. I'm not quite as balls to the wall as you and might be geared a bit shorter in addition to slightly smaller displacement, so I think I'd be fine for over 250.

I measured the bolt perfectly from McMaster Carr for the support bars so the last things I need are the fuel lines, petcock ( both on order), and a T fitting for the other side. I should be able to get the support bars bent and ready to rock this weekend, so I might actually get a test ride in with the big boy prior to loading up.
