I finished!!

We got back this week, with lots of bumps, bruises and scrapes. No broken bones or major loss of blood. My advice to anyone who rides a dirt bike is to RUN to the airport and go spend a week riding in the mountains around Sibiu. It's enduro heaven. Kind of like baja, except its wet, has lots of tacky dirt, and endless dark and spooky forests to get lost in that are home to packs of wolves and bears (no lie).

Quoting Homero Diaz (KTM MEXICO TEAM RIDER) "It's like being in a haunted house, and every room is scarier than the last for 4 days straight."

The course is set up to make you fail, and not finish. In other words, it's UNRIDEABLE. Most importantly are the impossible downhills, and the impossible side hills. You don't know what steep is until you visit Romania. Sustained 45 degree plus for miles on end. Just insane.

What a blast, cant wait to go back........

Just go there even for a week of a "human" enduro ride, the places, routes and trails are always beautiful (check my little report - sorry is in Italian - of last year's Trandilvanian adventure http://www.endurostradali.it/forum/v...vania&start=25 )

Its a combo pipe guard and skid plate. They make them in Romania and we are going to begin importing them for sale. They are hard core. All 4 bikes lasted the entire race and prologue without a single ding.
