I think the CTEK items purpose is more to monitor the battery when the bike is parked for extended periods and to then easily connect the charger

The 1190 has a Volt meter in its console display already

Mine is in same location as PABiker's. I used quick plug in connectors to make for easy removal of side panel. Use a relay on it, or just wire to the switched accessory connection behind your dash, so it is only on when the bike is switched on. Easy-peasy, positive to positive, negative to negative anywhere in the system.

Some Garmin GPS units have the option to show voltage. I know my ancient III+ did and my current 478 shows voltage. Just a possible option if you're thinking about a gps as well.

My Zumo 450 has this feature, but the voltage it shows is always different from what is shown at the same time on my multimeter.

Parts catalogs for electric golf carts will have some nice small gauges.

Is it waterproof, got a link?

A bit Heath Robinson, cheap voltmeter from flea bay, thinking how to make it waterproof, so I got two pieces of perspex and a load of clear silicon...left it to dry and pealed off the perspex and trimmed...not very well.

Can't read in direct sunlight but under cloud or shade its ok.....14.1V all day long. Keeps an eye on R/R.

How do you display the voltage on the Zumo 450?

If you don't care about a an actual reading and can get by with warning lihgts, this is an easy stick on option.

Not a KTM, but I have a Datel voltmeter on my ride, fitted inside a Radio Shack project box, with some window tint over the screen to cut the glare:

Works well for me.

(and kudos to jimvonbaden for the slick install. . ..)

Listed as waterproof.

Here is an amazon link.

Bought mine from www.aliexpress.com and got a set of 4 for $20 shipped to Sweden, bought one of each color, lucky I did, the ears a quite fragile and damaged one during mockup.

Time will tell if it will hold up, will give it a small bead of black silicone around it.
