One day trippin' to the Izu Peninsula

Hello everyone. I'm new to ADVrider. I'm enjoying your fascinating touring reports.

This is my first report to this forum, my short touring to the Izu Peninsula, Sizuoka, Japan.

Yesterday, I went to the Izu by my mortorcycle.

(sorry, some of the GPS log is out)

The old temple of Buddhism is at the northwest of the Izu peninsula. This place is calm and mysterious.

Let me introduce my motorcycle, Suzuki V-Strom650. I bought this bike last month.

At the west sea side of Izu, beutiful small cliff islands can be seen. They are the Dougashima island which are one of the natural beautiful scenary of West-Izu coast line. This area has relatively warm climate, so it's nice to sightseeing.

Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan could be seen well this day.

It was three days holidays in a low, so the helicopter crusing had taken place.

It was about 250km way short day trippin' but I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks flei. I like ADVrider and I was inspired by other riders reports, so I decided to upload my touring photos.

Thanks comments. Helicopter cruising of the last photo costs 4000 yen (about 34 US$) for 3-5 minutes short flight. It's expensive, don't you think so?

But a stuff of the helicopter company said that it's not enough for running the cruising plan, it's deficit.

Aircraft needs high running cost.
