Calling in a favor from across the pond

My sister and her man will be in the UK around Christmas and New Years in Cumbria and York. I live outside Chicago, IL (USA). My sis is desperately wanting to try falconry. Does anyone know somewhere or someone who can help me give my sis the best Xmas present ever and have her try Falconry? Any help would be appreciated!

In trade

I can offer a spare bedroom, a car, and/or a motorbike while in town as trade. Plus chow and beverages!

Doug,
Found this place on Google:

Seems its a minimum 3 day course, and it doest seem to be cheap! Might be worth a call.
I dont know them though.

Falcons are a lot more difficult than hawks. Any reputable establishment will want three days or a week of your time to teach you to handle falcons.

These two establishments (sadly both some way from York/Cumbria) offer one-day hawk handling experiences.

Most people start with hawks and progress to falcons

I hope she enjoys her stay here in the UK.

Hi There, theres a place just outside of Keswick in Cumbria thats called TROTTERS FARM, don't let the name put you off they have birds from Golden Eagles to Barn owls. I don't know if they do lessons or anything but their displays are realy good so your family will have a good time there I think, they now call it Trotters World I stand corrected lol.
Here is the link I hope this helps http://lakedistrictwildlifepark.co.uk/
If I lived there still I could of give them a tour around, but I've since moved away.
