Actually, now that it is almost at the original ($25K) goal, it's been upped to $50K. So get off your slackin' butts and give a little. Toolfan was a good guy, he was one of ours, and no family deserves what has been heaped upon them.

Would anyone from the Seattle area be interested in carpooling down to Portland for Elias's memorial.

I can fit 4 beefy adults comfortably in my ford station wagon.

Itinerary would be something like: meet at my house in Ballard at 8 am, leave by 8:15, leave Portland around 6 pm return to Ballard around 9:30 pm.

Check in with me by Private Message.

Thanks, Dave.

One more seat available in my carpool to Portland on Sunday.

I've got a complete Kenny G discography loaded into the factory ford surround sound system and am ok with burning sandalwood incense during the drive down. Windows fully up, naturally.

I promise to drive at 5 mph under the speed limit in the leftmost lane the entire trip.

A celebration of Elias’ life is planned for Sunday, January 5th at 1:00pm.

It will be located at the Northstar Ballroom, 635 North Killingsworth Court in Portland, Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that remembrances in the form of donations be made to Margot and Sam’s education funds.

This is an example of how special relationships are that are created from the joint interest in motorcycling.

It would be nice if you could also include a small exhaust leak. It's the extras that count.

See you there.

Any particular dinner suggestions to ensure a "small" exhaust leak on the drive down tomorrow?

Bump.

One more space available.

I've spent the day eating raw garlic by the fistfuls. Also, I'm up to "L" in my belching of the ABC's in one breath. I hope by the end of the drive I'll be able to make it to "W".

I'd drive to Seattle just to hitch a ride back.

How much coleslaw will you be hauling?

Your Eulogy for Elias was great Scott, I know it had to be hard to do, but it was well done and I know everyone enjoyed it.

Thanks, Tom. Easy to write as Elias wrote it. Easy enough to read at home. Not so much in front of Elias's family. I couldn't look at his parents.
