SE Erzberg: Additional equip & what year?

What came with the SE Erzberg that didn't come on the previous SE's besides the akras and BNG's? Was the suspension the same? Gas tank? Anything else?

Also was it only one year that KTM did the Erzberg addition?
Thanks

Never seen the graphics over the originals,,,, could be wrong though.

US didn't get the Akras or adjustable foot pegs but did get the rest of the Erzberg package.

My '09 "Erzberg" had the new shroud stickers over the old ones. All the SE's have the same size tank. They are reported between about 3.4g and 3.7g, but they are all the same size peanut tank.

Mine also came with some orange covers on the brake and clutch MCs, the little carbon protector on the ignition cover and the black clutch cover.

Interesting about the decals,,,, never noticed that before. Learn something new everyday.

All those covers are in the parts listing I posted. This is from the EU parts manual.

I doubt they were manufactured in '08 either....They were likely unsold units....hence the "over" sticker

Does the large Safari tank make it handle like a sloshy pig? I see there is an under seat option out that will add a few ltrs but needs an external fill IMO. Taking the seat off to add some fuel would be a PITA$$ with gear packed.

So far all the Erzbergs have a manufacture date sometime in 2008 and a MY VIN of 2009. Haven't seen or heard of anything different although there is always a chance. Sticker on the right trellis and on the steering head have the exact date of manufacture. Tenth digit of the VIN designates the MY.

I put the safari on and I was worried about weight.

1 - I didn't really notice any difference in handling. It's still a freakin SE!
2 - you don't have to fill the tank all the way up if you know you are not going to need 7.9 gallons of dino juice.

If you mean Rade's underseat tank, it's only for the 950Adv and non-abs 990 as far as I know. Different rear subframe on the SE.

I have an ADV LHR aux tank on my Erzberg. You need a 2 into 1 for that. Bumps it up by 8.5 ltrs, but I have a Safari to fit in 2 weeks.

I'm wondering if anyone's fitted a sight tube to tell the level of the Safari or can you see inside?
