I was just thinking of doing the dual conversion that is offered in the Wunderlich catalog, but this seems like a nicer idea. Do you have some available for sale yet? I am interested. Love my 95 1100GS, and will NEVER part with it, so it deserves a few upgrades...

Well, now I look silly. I got so excited I sent my post before reading the last two pages. I'll wait patiently in line, and get one when it is available. Thanks in advance for a great option for my old workhorse!

I sent a couple kits out recently, so here are some assembly exploded views to get familiar with the kit. Shows the Truck-lite LED not provided.

I just received the prototype when I arrived home this morning, it was at my computer. Apparently my wife wanted to know what I had spent money on and opened it up. I can only say that if the prototype looks this good I can't imagine what the finished product will look like, I had a serious man moment. I can't wait for the Truck-lite to get here so that I can get it all mounted and adjusted. CG, I can only say that you aren't getting this back

I will have a write up and some pictures posted ASAP.

Glad the package survived the ups muck-up and you finally got it.
Hey, since you plan on keeping it, tell your wife not to cash the check I enclosed for return postage....;-)

If you like this mod your really gonna like the next....

Lights

Ok, gotta ask, will this mod fit an 07 GS, or is the improvement in lighting making it unnecessary? I have a cracked lens so this makes more sense that forking out for a replacement lens, particularly if I also gain extra sunshine?
Thanks
Al

Alas,
This is a mod for the dwindling few 1995-1999 R1100GS.

Count me in as an interested party. This is a tough month for me so I'll have to wait, but will be following your progress

Interested ...

I like that the Truck-lite is made in USA. Hopefully it will be a reliable unit.

I'm quite interested one of these, especially an aluminum one with no running lights.
If those don't make it into production I'd be interested in a stainless unit. It's very cool design.

Lots of guys on the Jeep forums love Truck-lites. They seem to be highly durable and long lasting. They have a light output and color similar to HID and only draw a fraction of the power of halogen or sealed beams.

JW Speaker lights are DOT approved. They are a great performing light but they're not conventional looking at all. http://www.jwspeaker.com/products/headlights/

Ok,
I'm in Baton Rouge finally. Housing situation not resolved however. Couple days to get settled and I'll start getting ducks lined up. I'm shipping my GS(1100 of course!) and it will arrive Sunday. I put the majority of the led kit operation in the panniers and action packer box sent along with. The special fx shop is not up and running yet anyway, which is where I was planning on doing the final prep and inspection before shipping.
I'll start with the cf and aluminum running light versions, which have the most interest and the most involved.
Hopefully we'll get some feedback soon from the three kits already sent...but I'm thinking the cold snap has something to do with the silence...

I received my stainless and cf without running lights kit yesterday. It looks superbly made. Don't have the light yet to fit it all up but soon.
