Hotel/Area for Barber Motorsports Park

A few of us are planning to come down 10/14 for the Vintage Days. Looking for a good place to stay that has decent restaurants and generally a nice area. Don't mind driving 30 minutes to the track if need be. All help is appreciated!

If you are on bikes I would suggest Cheaha. State park on top of a mountain. Decent restaurant but the roads in and out are awesome if you are riding the bikes. 30-45 minutes from Barbers. Cheap too.

Unfortunately we will be in a rental car. Had thought about renting a bike and doing a ride out of Birmingham after the event for a few days. I suppose that would be an option as well.

I've stayed in the Inverness area off 280 SE of town many times. Great area with plenty of hotels and resturants. Easy ride/drive to the track via 119 of about 20 minutes.
