Recommendation for good BMW oilhead tech in the B'ham, AL area?

The dealership in Birmingham has changed hands since I last owned a BMW and I don't know anything about the new ownership or the service department ability or reputation.

I'm not necessarily opposed to going to the dealership for service that I can't do myself, but I likewise would prefer to know the other options.

So I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance,
Rick

Shawn Martinette is one of mechanics at new BMW dealership. Shawn has certifications from many manufacturers including BMW. He was at Bogarts and Red Mtn Motorsports. He left but came back to BMW recently.

Also, David Haynes (author of Motorcycling Alabama) is working at BMW dealership on Tue, Fri, and Sat.

This event has passed, but they are trying to improve the dealership and are getting ready to re-locate next to Barber.

Also give Terry's Two Wheels a shout. Very good group there, service is all they do, mostly BMWs. Definitely worth a call.
