Power Commander for 06-07 990.

I have been wondering how good the fueling could get with a PC.

A bit of background.

Akra slip ons, TuneECU Akra map loaded, standard air box, SAS in place and turned on, Throttle cam fitted, cables adjusted right, TB checked, TPS ok.

Bike runs real nice, but still just a little bit throttle jerky down low.

Had a PC3 on a previous Aprilia and liked how I could adjust mixture (after getting map made) using the buttons on the actuall unit.

It got me wondering if anyone has gone the PC route with a 990 and if they are happy/dissapointed.

Let`s hear it

I think your better off getting your Ecu reflashed on a Dyno, It would also be cheaper and you get the best out of your machine.
I had my Superduke 990 reflashed for 200 bucks.

I had one for a while, got it tuned as a baseline (with a MH airbox, 2-1 akra) then have been adjusting it using TuneECU. Going with a PC, a PC V would propably be a better option with the various options they now offer (display, multiple maps switch...etc)

You can only get a PCIII for 07-08 990's (maybe 06).. which is a paper weight unless you know how to do mapping or want to pay someone to map it for you (few people can do this properly on an LC8)...

I have a Bazzaz w/ auto tune setup for sale that I tried on my 990 and it was smooth as a baby ass. I can answer any questions you have about Bazzaz on the LC8. Feel free to PM me.
Bazzaz is far superior to PC in just about every way from my experience. I have dealt with both extensively.
This WILL fit your 06-08 990.
It's also, as far as I know, the only system you can get for a 06-08 990 to have the auto tune function.

I just wanted to leave the FI where it will adjust for altitude change (retain lambda probes).. so away the Bazzaz goes...

I'm actually going to start getting the stuff together for a carb swap I think though. Less electronic worry if done properly IMO.
