Here is a sample of varying tread during a three hour ride today pre running a section of the RRR ride for DSDD 14.

The only tread type I did not encounter was multiple miles of SAND, I was avoiding it today.

Heading out to Tucson from Austin TX to see my dad the same weekend. riding the Super Tenere out. Mostly side and dirt roads all the way. 1200 +/- miles so not sure if I'll be up for more riding but will come out to check things out.

anyone coming want to meet in Carlsbad to meet and ride out Thursday and Friday... ?

Would love to ride past the Cochise Stronghold down to Tombstone, but didn't see any rides like that listed on the website. Who knows, maybe it isn't even possible.

However, if anyone has done this then can you offer any recommendations or gps info?

Thanks!
Brian

I can tell you several ways to do that ride. I will be at breakfast everyday. I'll have a Dual Sport Adventure Tours shirt on. See you there.

We are leaving Phoenix early Thursday morning. Should be their a little after noon.
I will be riding the 1190R, sleeping in a Sandpiper (I hope).
The weather is perfect.
