getting ready.

got the time off for mmm. looking forward to camping off of my bike. Just got my tent out and seam sealed it. made a tube to store the poles in. new panniers mounted. the list is shorter and shorter. Learning how to pack now. light is a must not a lot of room. anyone have suggestions? got most stuff on but unsure about how to carry a sleeping bag. help me please

You won't even need a sleeping bag... I was beautiful warm weather last year.

Buy a compression sack to reduce size of bag and pack in your pannier or a duffle bag.

Also, Twisted Throttle had some nice waterproof bags called DrySpec. You can strap them on your bike if you don't want to take up space in your panniers.

I use a wolf man renegade dry bag that holds a sleeping bag, pad, and pillow for my delicate head.

It was a beautiful wknd in Tellico. Lots of gates closed because of last weeks snow. Hope they're all back open in the next cpl weeks. Citico is open and couldn't be better!
