I still can't believe they released such a wimpy subframe on a big bike! It looks like it will hold up now. Thanks for the update. As far as the rack when I get the bike home I plan on bending up a rear hoop to connect the two racks. As well as triangulate a few areas to strengthen the whole system. Braap

Well Dan there are so many "can't believe they released it" items on these bikes. I know everyone loves to tinker and modify, but some of this stuff is just down right ridiculous, especially given the number of years on production and knowledge about issues. For example, the kick stand...

It officially is 99% finished. Shake down ride completed.

I have ridden a lot of machines and this one is... a freaking HOOT! Grab a fist full of throttle in 1st or 2nd and you had better be paying attention or you will be on your head, in third it will lift off at about 6k RPM on a WOT roll on and in 4th it will just start to get light.

Its late and I have to get up way too early tomorrow. I will get more video and pictures up tomorrow.

We sell a longer front brake line on our website. Have them in stock if it helps...

If we go there with needing a longer one I'll get GALFER to make one, but thanks for the offer.

Dan's first ride, and first thoughts upon returning...

He has a several days scheduled to run a GPS route of the Olympic peninsula next week, so it will get a full on shake down ride soon.

The bike absolutly rips!! Got a couple more things to do to it which I attacked today but I am very happy with the result. Going to get a final tune done after the shakedown ride. I'll report back with updates as they come in. 3rd gear roll on wheelies Braap!
