Thumb Wow!!

Dan stopped by my house yesterday on his 990 SE and let me take it for a spin. Holly SH*T it's fast!! The beast wheelies with ease when rolling on in 3rd and only requires a little clutch to loft the front in 4th. It feels a bit crazy as the seat height must be about 39 inches with the Renazco seat on it. The motor is so smooth and pulls really strong. What a solid build!! I can't wait to see it in action plowing through the sand in Baja!

That thing was fast with the 950 motor in it. I remember wringing the shit out of mine to keep up. Glad to hear it all worked out!

I think that there is more there to be had, not that it really needs more... The tune that is on it presently could be improved for that specific machine combination of exhaust, engine and intake configuration through doing some more dyno and then road logging.

Well I didn't get to go on the ride in the Olympics because I ended up having to build a deck to stay in the wife's good graces. So far only really rode around town and dipped off on some gravel roads. My initial impressions are that as stated it is very fast but not uncontrollable. It had a throttle cam system on it with the most aggressive cam which was too much. So I put my stock 950 throttle tube on to ease the transition from closed to half throttle. It still is a little touchy on the right off throttle transition so I am going to take it to Nels and have him do a final tune. I am loving the bike so far and look forward to a real off-road ride soon. More to come.

Really nice job. Love the bike.

Try give it the last touch with a 13´ sxf front fender. It will look rad.

Going to go do a big loop in the Olympics tomorrow. If the gopro is charged I'll try and remember it in the morning. For now it's back to work till 3am.
