It does. That's going to suck.

Gas

Small Bike day one gas. You need a 90 mile range. From Miconopy to Cedar Keys there are no planned gas stops.
Options:
Get a bigger tank (aka dual sport tank)
Bring gas
Ride with a tanker (KLR)
Ride off route and rejoin route along the way
Sorry Pete Waybill made the route
I guess I should have posted this a couple days ago when I found out.

Rich reported 7 left from Cedar Keys this morning, all big bike. So, there will be no reports on small bike day two conditions. Gotta love it, it's going to be an adventure

If you're bike can't go 90 miles (actually it's 93) on gas you shouldn't be attempting a Trans-anything.

The only two I can think of are an XR650L and 625SXC and anybody on one of those likely has a solution already. Could be close for others, just something else to worry about.

I'm on a DR 350, I'll bring spare gas just in case.

Yes I have two with me. Ten dollars your choice, first come first served. I am on a black Super tenere. They both mount to the handle bar or cross bar with a hose clamp. See you at the Shell station.

I rode down from Indiana Thursday and Friday. Froze my ass off up north and it really didn't get any better once in Florida, but at least I wasn't getting wet anymore.

Okay, weather channel says 70's tomorrow. All this water evaporates pretty quick down here right?

It'll be a beautiful day! It'll start out a bit chilly though.
