Yep, he used to throw some great NYE parties in DFW. Think he spends most of his time at the Farm now, but I haven't been around there a whole lot to see what he's been up to.

Select group. That's so quaint.

He left here with $500 of mine.

Well it looks like you've been around long enough by that post count.

Goodluck with it.

hypothetical for everyone here:

Guy says he will buy your bike you posted in the flea market. You come up with a price you can both live with and turn down a few other offers that were close in price but the guy really wants the bike. He asks you how much to hold the bike with full payment coming in one month.

$500 sounds like a fair amount to hold the bike.

So he sends you $500 to hold it.

You wait a month and nothing from the buyer.

You PM him and he actually says he forgot about the whole deal. Says he'll see what he can do.

He offers to send you another $500 but you say no, it's ok because I trust you.

He then backs out a week and a half later, only to send you another PM a week after that telling you to call him "right now" so he can pay for the bike.

You call him that very next morning and he says "too late" but then goes on to say that he's still trying to sell a car and wants the bike.

Finally almost three months from saying he wants the bike he then says, nope, can't do it.

What would you tell this guy when he asks for his deposit on the bike back two years later?

Please let this go to JM. It's winter and even I can smell blood in the water.

And Pete(tm), assuming your story is accurate, two years later I'd tell him to go fuck himself

Pete and I disagree on a lot of shit, but I'd stake my life on his integrity.
