Aaah ... That shouldn't be possible.
How the hell did he ride with that???

I've seen a few x-rays of broken clavicle, and people usually feel paralyzed for weeks with a lot less damage.

This qualifies him for alien status just on the biology bases.

To give a good perspective of the situation, here is how it should be ...

And people were speculating that he could have just a line fracture or something!! How can you ride Dakar stages with that??????

At a certain point the firehose diverged to women possibilities at Dakar. Laia Sanz at a post Dakar interview : http://www.marca.com/2014/01/28/moto...390906941.html

Quote:
Q: And now, Do you think you can make it to a first place?

A: No, to a first place I will never make it, and not to a third either. Like it or not there's a physyical difference between women and men. In a car a woman can win, obviously. On a motorcycle, being very well physically prepared, she can reach a good level, but being up front I see it complicated.

Also declares that integrating HRC team is a possibility.

You are actually perfectly right :) They were scratching their heads a bit over the Speedbrain's tower. You can smash it to pieces, but instruments will survive (in most cases..)
The KTM is gonna do something about the tower as well for the production bike, that carbon stuff is beautiful, but one impact and the tower is in splinters. I can imagine all the amateur buying new "cheap" carbon stuff every time they crash..

This is unbelievable !! It was true !! We were sitting in the middle of the race with Ivan Jakes and company, Casteu's girlfriend came around (she's also from Slovakia) and told he's riding with broken collar bone. No one believed her, I cracked mine this summer and this is not supposed to be possible..

Doesnt matter. I showed my 6 year old girl some Laia video, and she was transfixed. Keeps pushing me to find more of her riding, especially her trials stuff when she was younger but she likes the Dakar stuff as well.

Talk about a role model, I can see my kid's wheels turning :loll

Casteu- Sacre bleu its a good thing they didnt Xray it out in the field. It would have been hard to get around that. But not seeing it makes it better :haha Still

Right! I just had a bad shoulder/arm injury last year. The Surgeon explained to me how the Human shoulder "goes offline" to protect itself. It took me 6+ months of rehab before my repaired shoulder acted like my other shoulder when asked for the same movement. Really weird.

Looking at those Xrays I'm amazed he continued at all, forget the crazy pace he kept. Beast!
I did notice he has a different smile post op than he did during the race.

Hi Manny!

Some of you will have see what Manny posted on his FB page today. Here's the the text:

"The Rebel project continues to grow and believes in the new generation! Here i am with one of the young lawyers of Rebel X Sports"

So Manny is working with an attorney to hammer out regulations for sponsors and riders. "Attorney" brings to mind this:

Or maybe this:

No can do, not our Manny. HERE is the attorney he's working with:

Cyril wanted us to neglect the other riders and be No 1, and he wanted a lot more money too.
So we decided forego the internal fighting and back Marc Coma We made
the whole team work for him

This approach was a success. We had a great team spirit. because we did'nt fight internally we had a better atmosphere than ever before

We will hire another young rider during the coming year. But our plan is clear: In 2015 we will go into Dakar with Marc Comaas our sole No 1 rider

Q: will Husquarna field a factory team in next years Dakar?
No decision made yet. We have to carefully think about what we do with Husquarna. All we know now is that we will be competing with a five rider strong KTM factory team in the 2015 Dakar

Q:You could get Cyril back and spoil him as No 1 at Husquarna

Ahm- Husquarna is not desperate enough do do that.....
