Looking at those Xrays I'm amazed he continued at all, forget the crazy pace he kept. Beast!
I did notice he has a different smile post op than he did during the race.
I know exactly how that feels ,I broke mine 3 months ago ,and it is only just starting to get some real movement .It does kind of paralyze itself to protect it from moving .
I didn't think it was a smile on Casteus face ,more of a grimace !!! a well earned one too.

So I have always believe Dakar 2015 would start in the north of Peru or in Ecuador, go through Bolivia and end in Buenos Aires. No Chile.

Well, Its official!-

Dakar 2015 will include Peru, according to Peru's Minister of External Business and Tourism José Luis Silva Martinot.

Apparently they have extended the contract to include Peru in the Dakar every year until 2018.

In 2012 Peru recorded $100 million of revenues thanks to the Dakar.

This year Peru lost its bid to be included to the county of Bolivia.

It's more than a thot. Check out my excursion: http://www.aroundtheblockmotoadventu...kar-2015-tour/

I'm sure Neil will be riding along with us (If he isn't racing! )

Cheers! Toby

One of the pictures MF1A took shows Chaleco's front wheel (or what's left of it ) in all it's glory:

It's a normal Takasago Excel Rim.

Here's another awesome (and long) Prata helmet cam video.

Skip ahead to one hour into it and look at the terrain he's riding through. Heaven. That has to be a bike/quad segment only, because I don't think a car could stay on that road, much less one of the trucks.

Wow, watching that, I'd go to Argentina just to ride the roads of that stage.

Looks like KTM break and can not continue.... Looks like Honda are more crash proof and or have tougher riders.

He should have backed down to cruise to settle for a finishing position what ever that would be.... No?
