But god, this lady like to eat tires.. my rear tire is completely done but completely , I can get another extra mile from it.. so changing a tire every 2,5 k miles it will be very expensive.... now just got a Pirelli MT90 on the rear and will see if it takes a little bit longer to wear out...

When you get some miles on those MT90s would you mind doing a write up on how you like them on the 1190? Thats what I'm eyeballing when the crappy Conti's go to tire heaven.

I'm actually pretty happy with the stock tires. I have TKC's at the ready, but I'm surprised at how well the street tires are working in gravel! Mud, yeah, they suck big time...

I have 500 miles on the rear mitas e 09 Dakar. Very pleased. At least 350 of the miles were spinning in the dirt. Had it up to 111mph with a Tkc 80 front. No prob.

Can you provide some input on road performance? Noise level? Traction?
Do you think you could scrape pegs on dry tarmac with them?

Don't know about the peg scraping. Traction is great road and dirt. Street performance seems as good as a mefo super explorer and better than a k60. Haven't noticed high noise levels but I wear Bose noise canceling head phones while listening to music. Helps to also drown out my akra w/o db killers!!!
Rode today in mud, snow, and ruts. It was great. Almost as good as a 908 on my SE!

Can't remember what they cost. I buy way too many tires. Can't get in USA. Mx1 in Canada. They'll ship to USA. I'm trying a k60 next.

Currently running the k60 rear and the Kendra Big block in the front. Have about 2k miles on them both. Seem to do well on both dirt and street. Yes the Kendra's seems to be loud on the street, but if it wears fine I can deal with that.. I'm hoping they will both last at least 7k.

Reading this thread with interest. Can I assume that unless comments are specific about running tubes then the tyres are being run without tubes whether they are a tubeless type tyre or not?

I'm using TL type only front and rear w/o tubes.

I tried ordering a Mitas E09 but they are out of stock until the end of May. I decided to try an E07. Does anyone have any experience with it?
