Sidecar?

I'm thinking of putting a sidecare on so I can do a long trip with my Rottweiller. Has anyone put one on or does anyone have a good idea of what would be a good off road sidecar?

thanks
craig

The only advice I can give you is to get Jack Russell Terriers. I have two of them and they absolutely love to ride with me on my KTM 950, while safely situated in the tank bag, secured with a special harness. The only problem so far has been that both of them lean the wrong way, but just a minor problem. Eventually I’ll post pictures of them while riding. Additionally there are Doggles on the markets just for them.

Dogs are cool, but PLEASE!

Let me guess you also have a Hugh Heffner robe and love it?

I don't think adapting a chair to the 950 would be easy- you would pretty much have to ditch the chair side tank and create some sort of lower frame piece to mount the low chair brackets to. Anythings possible, I guess, but the obstacles in your way are considerable- enough to perhaps justify the purchase of another bike all togather.
Ural patrol, anyone?

there used to be a company that made sidecars for the tdm 950 that leaned with the bike called Toro - you might be able to adapt one of them to an adventure.

It seems he is serious. I think an intervention is in order.

Friends don't let friends drive sidecars.

I'm WAAAYYYY interested in hearing what Romer has to say!! Sounds like a great reason to buy a second 950 (WESFNW, ya selling?) just to set it up as a hacked rig!!

Please keep us (me) updated with anything you hear!!

Rick
