OklahomaKLR vs. Barbed Wire Gate.

Jacob from OklahomaKLR is a lucky man (in that weird way that only motorcycle riders really understand). He was thinking about a pipe he had passed toward the side of the road and missed the barbed wire gate. Glad to report, he came out in pretty good shape. A few scratches and bruises, but overall, it was a day to buy a lottery ticket.

Be careful out there.

Phil, this is a bit OT, but with the takeover of Gericke in Germany, will we see LS2 moving that product line to the US also?

(please?)

Hi atomicalex,

I think there's a good chance you will see that in late 2015. Might be sooner, but I think that time frame is realistic.

Thanks,
Phil

Good morning. I visited your booth when you came to Phoenix with the IMS, but did not see the helmet model that really interests me, the FF394. I no longer see it on your site, so I take it that model has been dropped? I am looking for a loooong oval, Snell-certified, modular. Snell lists your FF394, but no others. Thanks.

Hi MZ5,

We sold out of the FF394 very quickly. With Snell 2015 coming soon, we had to update it. It will be reintroduced as Snell 2015 certified this October.

Thanks!

LS2 MX442 New Lower Retail.

LS2 Helmets is known for offering more motorcycle helmet for the money and we've decided to prove it once again.

The MX442 weighs around 2.5 pounds depending on shell size. It's made with a FIBERGLASS shell that meets or exceeds DOT and ECE standards. ECE is accepted for competition use by virtually every sanctioning body in North America.

It has a technical fabric liner that wicks moisture, resists odor and bacteria and is fully removable and washable.

NOTE: The MX442 runs LARGE. Most riders wear one size smaller than is typical for them. I normally wear a medium helmet. In the MX442 I wear a small.

And now, we've lowered the suggested retail to only $129.95.

I can't recommend this helmet enough. For the money, it can't be beat!

Hey Phil,
Sorry for posting in another thread, thought you might see this more quickly. I have a big melon 61-62cm, longer oval shape. Will any of your off-road/Dual sport helmets fit better than others?
Thanks,

Hi DFWBo,

Sorry for the late reply. I've been away a few days.

Fit is always an individual thing, but I'll do my best to offer some help.

First, you measure out to an XL in our helmets. We make up to a 2XL in our MX453 Adventure and our MX442 off-road, and up to 5XL in our MX456.

Our off-road and adventure helmets have a LONG OVAL shape. This is a super popular shape in the U.S.

Our MX442 is an off-road helmet that is very light, DOT/ECE and inexpensive. Most of the riders that I know with a 2XL head have preferred the fit of it over our MX456. I expect it may be the same in XL. Both are long oval, but the 442 is a little bit roomier on the interior, so if you have a rounder face, this is the direction I would go. The MX442 run big, so if you normally wear an XL, you might try a L first. Liners will swap between those sizes. If your face is more to the slim side, try the MX456.

Our MX453 is our Adventure model. In the XL or 2XL you shouldn't have any trouble fitting your head. Liners are interchangeable on this sizes as well.

Hope that helps and again, really sorry for the delay.

Take care,
Phil
