locking bolt 990

When adj valves what is the name of the bolt you thread in to hold to TDC ? And where can I find one. It seems at my age I can't remember S%*!

It's just a common 8mm coarse thread bolt with the end ground to a little bit of a point.....

I couldn't find a bolt that long that had threads the full length. Maybe a piece of metric all thread cut to length with a point ground. KTM or CJ sells the tool for less than $10.

I used a piece of all thread, ground a point at one end and two nuts tightened together at the other end.

Could use a long set screw too.

Threads are M8 x 1.25

That's what I did as well. Of course, not everyone has M8 by 1.25 all-thread (I think that's what it was) laying around in their garage.

Made it easy peasy for me.
