WHO'S IN?

The IN list;
Pcvance
theGrinch
Klammer
Off Limits

If no one else shows up, this will be a great ride! Good crew so far.

I can't make it, but you should pester rearsteer to join you. He knows some gnarly singletrack north of means that will definitely be CLOSED in the future.

Here is a link to our jv ride last winter.

FYI - Unless you are coming up from Palm Springs through Yucca Valley, camping at Means adds a half hour to the drive in and out versus camping at Cougar Buttes or Anderson.

Closed area is in the middle so access is the same... just running a different direction am to pm on the rides.

I may camp on the north end regardless so we have fuel and beer on both ends. Probably have several guys with me there as well. Lets see how this all develops.

Oh man, I'm really behind the times. I didn't realize the gubment did end up screwing us.

Well, I'm a big tentative on this one. We're hopefully moving over a couple weeks before, and this would be the first weekend in the new house, so I'm not sure if I can swing it. Plus, that's a long way down, so I'd just being the hitch carrier with the for the little bike.

I'd bring the pig, but I've not called Woody yet to straighten the Baja bend...

OK Perry... it's been BLASTED !

Quote:
Many of you know... Johnson Valley is being taken over by the military very soon and this may be our last chance to ride and enjoy all of JV before the Hummers start rolling in on us.

FFs from the ADV website are coming... the invitation went out to all RIDERS... as well as the DBA dudes... KTMTalk fellers... ThumperTalkers and even Café Husky crowd. We'll see who really rides !

We may have two camps North & South for everyone's convenience and to stretch the rides by sharing fuel and beers at both ends with the other camp ! Location or locations to be decided

I am personally looking forward to this ride like no other ! Love the area... in my back yard... been off the bike for months... and I haven't seen some of these guys for a couple years !

RSVP if you like... people like to know who is coming. You don't need a login to rsvp... but if you want one it's free. http://ridersonline.org/2012/smf/ind...pic,243.0.html

If you guys prefer to have an ADV camp and clique vs a wide open PERRYTOWN I'll just keep the blended crowd on the North end. But it would be fun if we could all mix and match... camping where each prefers... and riding with spontaneous groups of new riding buddies.

To each his own though... it's gonna ROCK

JV is an incredible place. Spent a lot of time out there in race cars over the last few years. It will be a shame to see any of it become lost to us. I envy all of you guys who are so close to that magical place!

Lotta guys will have families out there on this one.

Looks like we will have two camps then... Means in the south... and Cougar Buttes on the north end. I'll be at the Buttes.

If you guys are insist on having the illegal firework and bombs I won't be showing up. It scares the shit out of my dogs and most dogs. Many lost dogs in the desert because of this. Even though I'm in the desert I still try to respect by camping neighbors.
