Hi Pate! I should be picking up my bike next week or so, and then will be able to come out. Also, I wouldn't mind going on a short ride with you this summer if you're doing anything not too far from Moscow...

Hey, Doug, what's up?

Andrew spoke with the spirits of the stones.
And he brought a sacrifice in small amount.
Apparently there was air tunnel at our camp, the wind blew all the night and something was howling in the rocks.
Amir’s leg has not undergone significant changes, and looked swollen and too flimsy for the off-road tourism.

We drink tea, dry the tents and wait until the air warms up a bit.
We decided to get to the district center where we can get a doctor and X-ray. We scattered things on the capsules.
We gave to Amir an empty motorcycle and powerful shielded sneakers on his injured leg. There is 50 km off-road ahead. (Mongolian road)

Three of us are going little forward in search of a medical institution.
After a while we realize that there are only two of us rides.
We stop and wait for Che. It feels like there were no ambush places.
The road was virtually harmless. Although we had extra overload.

20 minutes later over the accumulation of manganese shales in the valley,
uniform hum of XR650L’ proton accelerators was clearly audible.
And here is the spaceship, slowly swaying from side to side and maneuvering between airless pits rushed to the spot.
While we are smoking, Che told us sentimental story,
as not observing the rules of space piloting*and being under the influence of psychotropic drugs predatory saber-toothed monster jumped across to him.

There was no chance of avoiding the collision. Taran.
Terrible impact knocked the predator.
Sheathing of the space module was disintegrated.
After cheking the damage to the capsule and recognizing it suitable for long-distance expeditions,
Che made burial with honors of defeated offender.

When we came to the town we asked a woman the way to the hospital.
She asked us to follow by her and brought us to a hospital.
We asked for Xray and a surgeon. Service staff didn’t get us.
As it turned out we came to antenatal clinic. We found real hospital on the next street.
I spent an hour to find a surgeon and to convince the reception stuff they have Xray
(I saw the radioactivity sign by myself)
Followed by radio second group made through chaos of Mongolian town. Amir arrived to the hospital.

Mongolia, hospital, fracture, Xray on the second floor,
motorcyclist with fractured leg on my back, narrow stairs, green wall – complete déjà vu.
I had passed through it already at previous time.

Picture. Simple fracture with now shifts (smile wiping his forehead).
Plaster. They don’t fix famous cosmonauts often here.
Being worried one of the nurses drinks water prepared for the plaster.
We spent a few tugriks and now a new white boot is on Amir’s foot.

While plaster boot is hardening we try to find an evacuation for the man and his bike.
The problem is we are in a separate part of Mongolia.
1100 km to Ulan Bator, 900 km to Russian border.
We found an interpreter (nice girl) and Grom negotiates in English with Mongolian carriers.

The situation is getting worse.
There is no normal road around Khovsgol lake.
Even Land Cruiser based taxi is not ready to storm it.
It has been raining for a week there.
They are ready to go only to the south edge of the lake and there we have to find a ferry.
It’s another transfer and a problem but we will handle it.
After three hours of negotiations and calls we found a hesitant small truck.
Calculated amount of money strained us but we had no choice.
Che collected money (we kept it in USD), put on glasses,
tousled his beard and went to the tour around town banks.

In the third bank he was arrested by cops.
Indeed, this is BenLaden who’s arrest order had been issued five light years ago.
Plus an attempt to change false money in huge amounts. They took him red-handed.

In the evening we changed Che for beads, mirror and stuffed cosmonaut figure.
We went to a restaurant where we eat, danced and waited for the rain to finish.

The truck with Amir makes 20 km per hour. But it goes stable and persistently.
We gave to Amir GPS and travel guide. The driver doesn’t now the road as usual.

We go fast to the night. “Federal road” is very dangerous after the rain but there’s no way to go around.
Dirt is everywhere. We crossed the pass and parked in a valley.
Our cargo shuttle came in the night and continued to drive.
We will try to catch it up tomorrow.

There is no more pictures as the card was broken.
