Foggy morning at Barguzin river

Goal number one is make a diagnostics of KTM690 noises.
Since we're right in the very deep asshole between buttocks of Special Stage
Sramnaya(pudendal) River and SS Two Barguzin Crossings.

An autopsy showed that rocker bearing is finished. Finished finally and irrevocably.
Having scattered a handful of metal shavings and shims inside the engine.
How was it driving in this condition through Barguzine I do not understand. It swam out under its own power!

Basically, having this rocker in hands, repair would take about forty minutes, maybe even less.
Engineering solutions of the layout of the motor are great.
Everything is accessible and easy to remove, even in the field. But we have no spare rocker : ((

To maintain our morale Space Marine brewed us crafty tea with herbs.
Well he was a child when his mother taught him to survive in Earth orbit without a spacesuit,
protoplasmic blaster, money and tools, using only grandfather’s sword and amphibious ingenuity.
He knows by heart all medical strengthen grasses. Basis of the potion were needles and taiga baobab fruits.

A_Big is making magic over the bowler.

It was harder after the tea. I had grilled radio station.

Abbott thoughtfully pulled out an orange wire out of KTM and began to prepare his sony ericsson, "smoked"

Grom went into the image of the solar cell and rotated with the system of three suns (red dwarfs) ,
accurately tracking projection with maximum energy flow;
absorbing and accumulating photons and electrons.

Others got high different way. They paced the clearing in all directions, looking carefully at irregularities of space rocks.
- Isn’t there any brand new KTM rocker?
- Periodically running up to the fire and turning their languishing on low heat sneakers, boots, pants and gloves.

As I already said, we were in the recess that was very close to the base of the "black hole".
For communication with Mission Control we had to build a tower of communication, but it has not helped.
Capacity of our transmitters catastrophically did not suffice.
And even when we threw a wire on "charged" Grom,
radio signal failed to break through the anomalous magnetic field of Barguzin.

The smell of tea attracted Rangers.
Orange was released from bags and performed in hands to a tow truck,
like a wounded comrade carefully moved into the bay.

690 looked at us and said goodbye in the doorway, looking out with his 990’s eye.

Rangers also were treated to some tea. The tea appeared racy!
It released rescuers only in Irkutsk :))))))))) (but we do not know about this yet)

Coming short of zombies toxicosis I managed to uncork the flask with deactivator
(biennium infusion of special XR vodka)
and now I'm back to normal, but the situation was critical.
Overcoming difficulties I alternately saved all other members of space odyssey.
True deactivator was finished completely.

Morning routine. Pate smokes, he broke the bike that cannot be broken.
Goodbye, we are going to look for 110 mark.

Farewell Barguzin. We will remember you and tell our friends.

On the pass there is rocky ridge with offerings to the taiga spirits-custodians:
broken bottles, money, debris from foolish astronauts of past years, the skeletons of space vehicles.

We descended into the valley and started wondering.
The road is there, but it you cannot pass it, bridges are there, but you cannot drive on them.
The riddles of the Russian traffic.

Foreplay

And here it is. That most eminent road sign 110.
I think that it became famous because there is absolutely nothing around.
The Infinite Cosmic Nothing around for thousands of kilometers.

We drank 30 drops of Magura liquid (drained from 690 when loading) - first stage undocked.
The cherry is bitten, ahead is the stone: Sramnaya (Pudendal) river.
But it also hard to get. The right to assault "Sramnaya River” SS must be earned.
We struggle for it.

Cosmic Rivers are overflowed. Dams are blurred. Fish swim and spawn right on the road.
It’s cool to go and hunt for fish with front wheel.

Inexperienced reader may seem that this is a small river. No, brother, it is the road.

Along streams are blown bridges.

Characteristic feature that complete "F" (black hole) begins - a sign of road repairs

Jet noise spooked pterodactyl out of the nest, Space Marine saves chicks, hatches egg.

So we go. Steeps become steeper; scattered "gravel" becomes larger and larger :)))

We found a overnight place of Polish jeepers.
They are supposed to be a day ahead of us, but it looks like in the morning they were still there.

Sometimes there is no road at all; in these places, we are significantly faster than cars.

A_Big scouts the area at low level flight; in interesting places he is on the safety.

I have ridden a push bike on the james river cobblestone road but ,man those russian cobble roads ,looks like they could have at the least leveled it out before throwing down those stones.
Or maybe those are the new russian topes to slow you supersonic travelers down to mach 3.

Thanks for the great report

The main thing is to believe in yourself and see the target

And then comrades will raise you and push you out if needed :)))

Rough rocks are pinching us from all sides.

And then the next emergency happens. Grom did not get in touch. I return.
He sits and smokes. Well KTM never breaks, we are lucky.
Holland electronic fuel pump "improver" finished.
Furiously fending off the advancing hordes of mosquitoes we dismantle half of the motorcycle.
Using parts from BMW, tropical vines, silicon scraper and scraps of Mammoth skin we make an alternative fuel pump.
Battery is dead, we start with a rope. It seems to work.
And ahead is Sramnaya SS, we are completely scared.

So it began. A_Big is already ahead and helps roll jeeps.
They surrendered without a fight with one request: to get them on the road.

And where is the button???? Every bike should have a button!

The path is really interesting; probably you shouldn’t ride here in one person.

Jeeps are trailing behind us; we rush like hell, driven by the ‘overcome’ filling.
Errors begin to occur and there is nervousness. We declare cosmic break.
We need to recuperate. I am very glad that I was driving 650 cc and not a liter.

And it’s OK that in the nearest space village,
scaly humanoid girls will give me their affections not as active as to liter owners.
But at least I have a chance to get there relatively alive :)))
We smoke, drink water, eat chocolate. Radio broadcasting revives.
A_Big reports that there are three and then four rifts ahead and then it’s autobahn.
Life is getting better. We put helmets on and storm the space obstacles with new forces.

In a few kilometers a good road appears.
And hidden thermal baths there as a reward for Special Stage Sramnaya River.
We jump in the small bath and sit there till dark.

A_big and Abbott went for fresh water and got lost.
I tried to search them. According to the sound when they left they went back to the river.
So did I. I fell down in the river and hardly got back when they had returned already.
In fact, they were in the village ahead of us.

We prepared a gala dinner with all the excesses. The Stone of Cherrie is also bitten.
We drank residues of defroster, the system is empty and needs refilling.
It is much easier now; we need only to return home.

Morning in the Resort Valley was fabulous.
Having relaxed in warm springs we felt bliss, rocking on the waves of heroic dreams under the steady hum of chitin wings and
rattle of mosquito legs on sheathing of space modules.

Start is not urgent; all the basic tasks of the travel are performed.
Ahead are grader roads, civilization, cafes and shops.

In the New Uoyan we attacked ice cream kiosk as taiga mosquitoes attack white man’s pink ass.
Grom was scenting that on the outskirts of the city the asphalt begins.
It was not very smooth and not very long but he lost his willpower.
POWERFUL KTM roared and rushed in the direction of desired asphalt leaving vortices of dust and gravel on the forecourt.
We met with Grom only in Severobaykalsk. To our arrival he had found local kosmo bikers.
We celebrated arrival in the city with a wide spree on the balcony of Yacht Club overlooking Lake Baikal.

In the morning we split into two teams.
Grom and Abbott go to Bratsk where they load their bikes to the train and take a flight to Moscow.
Che, Andrew_Big and I go back to Irkutsk, closing the loop around Baikal lake.

We met forest fires. It was scaring.

With every hundred kilometers the road becomes better and better

Irkutsk. Tickets are bought.

Guys need only to pack their bikes and then I will continue alone.

Astana night

This is a view for many hours

Bashkiria

Rumors about our expeditionhas swept around Russia. Pictures, autographs and other amenities.

Thanks for the support, help and good humor!
