I'm just seeing a blank screen for your vids. If I click on it, it goes to smugmug where I can watch it.
Lets see if the embedded file works here

Blank square that when clicked goes to smugmug where the vid plays. Whatever atomizer has done they work correctly in his post.

These look great Wachs! Well done amigo!

I'm in the market for some soft bags and can't wait for more info on pricing/release.

Also, will the smaller horseshoe design work on the Tiger800xc?

Thanks.
Dave

The price on the tank bank is up on their website $189.97, still pending availability "In Development". http://www.altrider.com/altrider-hem...id/1466/cid/17

Rolled down height and capacity

If those red drybags were rolled down so they protrude no more than 2" above seat height, what would the resultant capacity be ?

Reason I ask is for ease of swinging a leg over a plated dirtbike (in my case KTM500).

Do you think this could be used with the stock exhaust (and a heat shield) without melting the luggage? (KTM 690 Enduro R)

i also want to hear what wachs says on this question. you can see they are using a heat shield in the pic above if you look carefully.
http://www.altrider.com/product/detail/pid/1485

based on past experience, i would definitely use a heat shield with this system and i ordered one for each bike.

i have another question for wachs;

does this system come with a heat shield or do we need to order a heat shield seperately?

Actually, in the pic above, what you see there is the muffler bracket strap, not a shield.
That said, a heat shield definitely wouldn't hurt, especially on a stock 690 muffler with the catalytic converter. Just something to keep the plastic out of direct contact while loaded.
