I recently picked up the Hemisphere for my 690 and wanted to share how well the system works with a rear rack sold by an inmate Perun.

http://www.perunmoto.com/ [no affiliation - just a satisfied customer]

There are plenty of photos of his rack, but I wanted to share how well it integrates with the Hemisphere. The rearward clips on the Altrider bag fits perfectly in the strap slots -- kinda like this rack was designed just for the bag. This positions the rear of the bag just in front of the gas cap and provides easy access.

I'll post up more photos once I get the bike loaded up for an upcoming trip.

Great news selling the holster alone! I'm planning to pick one up asap, it seems to be just what I have been waiting for. I was wondering if it is already being shipped because it says in development on the website? Also will it be available from other distributors such as Revzilla? Thanks!

Inmate discounts

Any discount for inmates? If I missed any talks of discounts on the previous pages my apologies.

Awesome. Went to order and they are back ordered.
Do you have a time-frame for availability?

No racks needed and extremely versatile. We've given this unit the
punishment and it's tough. I wouldn't fill it up with rocks and go hit the
doubles but if you're looking for the do-it-yourself solution this is the
solution!

As far as I know, Yes, Revzilla will be carrying the luggage.

Idaho test

We did some testing of the Hemisphere and the tank bag over 7 days and 1400+ miles on the Tour of Idaho. Worked as advertised. Well done Wachs. Here are some pics from the trip.

Cheers,

Excellent! Good to hear and see. Thanks for the link to your shots, they're great! Are you putting a ride report together? Was hoping to do the Tour this year but it's not looking like we're going to be able. Next year though for sure!

Would it be possible to order just the dry bag insert from the tank bag?

The system worked pretty well for me over six days. Although, the holster made my plastic look like someone took a blowtorch to it. If that's something you're concerned about, you might want to put something between the holster and the plastics or any paint.

Oof. Can you share a photo of that? I know we ride dirt bikes but if a bit of protective tape can help with the resale value, then I'm interested in that.

Here we go. Doesn't scrub off, in case you were wondering. Much the same on the other side.
