Little help, Orange diarrhea.

That's what separates the few real riders on this website from time wasting trolls

Kedgi

I can't imagine why no one has rushed to help, world traveler.

How was dinner? Was anything ok?

I didn't read the 1st post as "stuck and need some help with a filter situation/KTM 990"

apologies I didn;t know that was the topic as it appeared a bash session for orange fan-boi's vs. orange haters

If no one else pulls through i'll find a filter kit here in FL and fed-ex it

What an amazingly egocentric and defensive thread. Help is not criticism.

Kedgi comes here and admittedly has a problem with YOUR fav bike. No one offers to contact KTM and advocate on his behalf .. no one in the area offers any help. ALL assume he is "not the kind of guy who should be riding a KTM" cuz he can't do a simple roadside repair of servicing the fuel pump.

Wow. You trash the owner. Trash him. With us or agin us.
Shame on you all here. Pompous.

He bought a bike based on KTM marketing. He assumed and bought the concept. No one at KTM pointed him to this website. Why would they? He paid big money for an awesome bike..

KTM has not stepped up. And all you great washed here can do for one of your own . is trash the owner. He should have he should have

Wow Shame on you all !!

Ya right, because this is post #145 and you've never stopped bitching long enough to ask the above until now.

KTM has not stepped up to do what? The fuel filter is a consumable item. It's clogged. How many miles does he have on the bike? 30k? How many times has it been replaced before now? The dealer screwed up by the sounds of it but exactly how is this KTMs fault? Plus the fuel filter is a consumable item. How many dealers are there South of the border compared to North. Who heads South without a supply of necessary consumable items? Doubly so when it's a known weakness of the bike. Let me guess, he didn't bring an oil filter either

He didn't come here for help. Dozens of posts offered help. He came here to whine and try to pass himself off as a sophisticated world traveler. He exposed himself as a helpless, hapless loser. He couldn't get out of the US yet he was gonna conquer the world.

I read post one again. It was where the bashing started.

I don;t give a %$#^ what brand I ride. I ride more jap bikes than anything out there anyway.

But post one seemed harsh more than reaching out for a little help.

Awesome Steve

That's what I expected.

You'd think all the hate filled morons here that carry spares with them all the time would have torn themselves away from their troll infested computers and said I will FedEx the part you need so you can have it tomorrow at 8

In the meantime Steve, another real rider has come through locally, found the part and I should have it in the morning. The Orange Crush trolls can go back to trolling, I can go back to riding. and get one step closer to getting rid of this bike.

It seems this website has become infested with a bunch that don't know what help or adventure riding is.

I really, really appreciate you kind offer. Your offer is what ADVrider is supposed to be about. The rest is just blowhard BS from riders that are not riders, have never gone anywhere and never will.

These morons claim to carry a boatload of parts everywhere they go, but none of them offered to FedEx what I need.

That's all I have to say except that it is sad when you have to defend yourself from a bunch of BS attacks from BS artists, when you reach out for help.

Thanks

Kedgi

Screw that.

I've helped dozens of advriders. Given them a warm bed, a full belly and all the booze they could drink. Tough guy needs to bootstrap his bike back into service.

Methinks this could have been fixed already with one courteous request in the first post. But some people just like to bitch.

Good luck to ya.

Now where is that unsubscribe button??

You didn't misunderstand a thing. It took till post 145 for him to realize if he asked for help instead of whining in the first post, he'd be on his way. I can't believe someone offered to help. The OC peeps are more generous than I.
