Thumb Different Fuel Pump With Dr Bean Board, It Works Well

Heya fellas, just a heads up on SE pumps, our replacement pump was TOTALLY different from our SE OEM pump thus needing new brackets etc.

The pump is for a Yamaha quad but has the same flow and pressure characteristics as the SE pump.

Here in Huanuco, Peru at Tobys we changed out the points hoping the Dr Bean board will fit which it does.

All went straight back together no worries at all.

These are the two pumps side by side, both made by Mitsubishi.

OEM SE on the right looking at the pic

Inside the new pump prior the change over

It got a wash from a high pressure waterblaster blowing the seal in and filling it with water causing it to seize solid. The Dr Bean board survived

Note it was not me who waterblasted it but a dealership .

All good now tho.

This pump lasted 10000 km, points aren't stuffed but not far off, Dr Bean the best solution.
