the sentence before clarifies it.

Please note that this ride is designed for Adventure bikes (i.e. GS 800, KTM 990, etc)

There are lots of events, (3 from our club alone) that cater to 2 stroke enduro bikes. Just not this one. Please leave them home.

Its the sentence before that caused my confusion. You have paraphrased it, omitting the part that caused my confusion.

"Please note that this ride is designed for Adventure bikes (i.e. GS 800, KTM 990, etc) and Dual Sport thumpers (i.e. DR 650, DRZ 400, WR250R, etc). This ride is not for 2 stroke enduro bikes."

Is it the noise or perceived top-end-happy riding style? Again, I don't own one, just curious what the implication is.

We have a Hare scramble an enduro and a combo Turkey run/Dualsport that 2 strokes are encouraged to enter. The BBA it is discouraged.

Are there gpx files of available routes? Or cue sheets or markings? I'm new to the dirt road scene and want to be sure I know where I'm going!

Its called a route sheet. Mileages and instructions.

At a particular mileage, you will change direction of travel, etc.

We put in ample "reset to 0" so if your trip odometer is off a tenth or so, you won't have to keep a running total in your head while trying to navigate the terrain.

I will post an example with all the info you will need to use a route sheet later.

btw, a route sheet holder is a necessity unless you have a map window on a tank bag or are riding with someone who has a route sheet holder.

p.s. we cater to the novices! You will have a blast.

Can't wait! Route sheets work fine for me. When does registration open?
