Sounds very cool! A short 2 hour ride from my homebase in Nashua, NH. I'll be there.

Couple questions...

1) Other adventure rides require knobbies...doesnt look like this is a requirement here? I'll have Conti Trail Attacks on the bike.

2) Will number of riders be limited? Wondering how long I can wait to sign up.

I'm picking up my first bike in 20 years next month, and can't wait to get back on some dirt!

Thanks!

This will make a nice little shake down ride for the Roaming Rally ride the following weekend. I've done this one a couple times now and I'm happy to support a good cause while having a great time.

Did it last year on Full Bore tires. If you need a 150/17 I have a TKC80 you can use that still has some life on it, though a front knobby would serve you better.

Tire selection is decided by the weather. If it's a dry spring almost any tire will do. Rainy requires more aggressive tread.

Thank you! If there's a chance that trail conditions will necessitate a set of knobbies (makes sense), I think I'll play it safe and get a set of TKC80's myself. I *know* I'll need them eventually anyway.

To Looksgoodinblack :
Look forward to seeing you there :)
I think we will plan on taking the Port Jeff Ferry up on Friday and staying at The New Boston Inn or one of the other hotels.
I need to look into that more.
