Not quite yet, should have all that info next week.

Hope you don't mind if I post this write up I ran across this morning-

http://www.advpulse.com/adv-products...adlight-bulbs/

I have nothing to do with advpulse but thought it was worth posting here.

I'd also like to see lower color temps - something in the 4.3k to 5k range would be great. The 6k+ light tend to have more back scatter.

So unfortunately I have the hard plastic rear cover on my 14' 500exc as opposed to the soft rubber rear cover like on my 13' 350exc so the H4 headlight won't fit I checked some other 14' models and they all appear to have the hard plastic rear.

Has anybody tried this in a nekkid Bandit 1200?

Are there any measurements on the bulb assembly I can use to check for fitment before hand?

Reckon I can just order one and ship it back if it won't fit.

Oh, is there any dimensions available for the H7 bulb?

Did you bring out a newer, shorter version of the H4/H6M bulb? I believe this is a photgoraph of the original bulb.

Are these photographs of a newer, shorter version?

If you have a shorter version of the original H4/H6M bulb, does it have the same dimensions as the H7 bulb, and how much shorter is the newer H4/H6M bulb?

I think the original H6M bulb is too long for my CRF250X, and will hit the steering stem on the frame.

The newer version is slightly shorter than the original, by approx. 3/8 of an inch. The black version is the latest and should not hit the frame on the 250X or at least it does not on the 450

Thanks for the quick reply. Three-eights of an inch shorter is a significant improvement.

H4 for WR250F

I just ordered the H4 for the 2003 WR250F I am dual sporting right now for my soon-to-be 14 year old kiddo. I'm pretty excited about how it does, as the stock is pretty anemic and the charging system is getting enough demands with the blinkers, brake light, etc that's being added right now. Last of the parts shipped yesterday to make this thing street legal so it will soon be road ready. Need to mount my DOT tires one night this week. I'll try to post some success photos of the new headlight.
