Travman,
You have just the top case set up I want on my (prospective) GSAW for two-up road trips with the consort, that is, a large case similar to my large RT topcase, with a back rest, and ideally with a high mounted tail/brake light. Does your Shad case have a light is that just a reflector. If it's a light, how did you get it to work correctly with the CANBUS controlled brake / tail light?

Actually, what I'd really like to have for night riding is a top case with a brake light and some LED row lights on the sides of the license plate, too.
There has to be a way...
Thanks for any advice and help with this subject.

The top case is not lit, it just has the reflector. I had the top case on my RT and just kept it for the GSA because my wife liked the backrest and it holds a bunch. I also have a set of LED hyperlites for the rear but have not installed them yet. They also came off the RT. The lights are powered via a fuse block and the brake and running switching is from a tapped rear light. The Hyperlite website has the wiring instructions for this.

Show us your new Liquid Cooled BMW R1200GSA

Did a custom windscreen for summer.
Also the light mounts are available if you see the other gsaw post.

I also found a good way to ise the gps bar for ram mounts.

Double split shaft collars. Work great. Size 12mm. Tested for over. 3 k now

You must have the side stand down also, otherwise it'd fall over.

Picked her up yesterday in Vegas and rode 260 miles home. Took her out today to play in some dirt. Awesome bike!

Ok need a bigger windshield.. Is the beemer tinted one the way to go..

At first I was hopeful the seat would be good sucked after 200 miles

As usual need a sidestand enlarger..

Best transmission / engine /clutch combination I have ever ridden...

Any reason the speedo numbers are 1/8" inch tall?
