Woman's Adventure boots.

While we were in Skippers on a rainy day over The New Year, Dawn complained of having a could foot and a look back at the motel later on showed why. A 50mm hole in the bottom. Yep they're buggered. They've done 10 years or more so they've earned their retirement. Trouble is we can't find any decent boots that are stocked in NZ. Plenty made but no one has small sizes. She also has a pair of MX boots she used for the TAT.
What type of boots do the other ADV woman out there use ?

When I was younger (20's) I was very petite, and like Ronny Corbet, I used to buy youth size clothes....cheaper than big people sizes. I used Junior MX boots. Seeing as rich kids ride mini bikes now, all that trendy gear is probably more expensive than adult sizes now.

I wear Forma boots
When the 350's kick start put a hole in my boot I took it to the local cobbler who gave me some shoe goo , it's working great and cheaper than and new sole.

Hi Ally, thanks for your reply. I have looked at pics o the new Forma boots. It seems they have a waterproof lining now. But they haven't got any small sizes. I think Dawns boots are beyond any shoo goo
We are reluctant to indent any or order overseas until we have tried that type of boot as here worn out boots are size 39. Her MX boots are a 40 and she tried on a friends more roady touring ones that were a 38. All 3 fit ok, their must be quite a variance in sizing.

I wear MX boots not unlike the ones Dawn has... I also wear waterproof socks when it's raining.
The Forma boots are the only adventure style boots I am aware of that come in sizes below Euro 40. I tried some on, but they were too small around the calf for me. Otherwise they seemed quite good.

Good luck with the shoe shopping

If only she had the same passion shopping for motorcycle gear as she has for street wear
Dawn says thanks for the encouragement. If only Number One Shoes sold bike boots

I gave them a ring. Sounds great, they will get the smaller sizes in and send them over and if wrong we can exchange them. Being in NZ the service isn't free like Aus but don't have a problem with that. At least we can change them, not like indent where we own them.

If you didnt make her run along behind and push all the time the boots would last much longer

great boot that comes in smaller sizes

I am a woman who also struggled to find quality boots in my size. Kids boots are usually cheap, uncomfortable crap that do not hold up. I lucked out and found these boots.

I am not sure if you can get then in NZ, but if you can, they are awesome! They fit like a glove from the moment I slipped them on.
