MGA--looking to buy

Guys,
I (think) that I want to buy an MG-A. Been looking for a while but have only found one locally that does not appeal. I'd like to find one in CO or within a day's drive of metro Denver. If it has NO rust, a clean title and runs I'd like to have a look. Originality is not a big deal nor are mechanical needs. On the other hand, body work, rust or large cosmetic needs are no-nos. Also, I'm only interested in the MGA (1956-62), not the later B's or the earlier T's. How's that for picky?! PM or email me landeira@colorado.edu.
TIA for any leads or advice.
Ric

Miata. It doesn't really matter what the question is. It's always the answer on automotive forums.

Iv'e got one. It is red with patina or could use a paint job or not. It has an early b motor in it. The car history is college professor ownership evident by stickers. I have all new interior, top, curtains, & cover in house. The carbs are out of car because they leaked a little. 12500 the car is located in salt lake

I had a Twin-Cam many years ago for a short time. Worked on it more than I drove it, but what a blast. When I can no longer ride, a Miata just might fit though.

Good luck finding one without rust in Colorado. Let us know if you do.

You might keep a watch on the Oil Rag, the monthly newsletter for the British Motoring Club of Northern Colorado. There a a number of gorgeous MGAs in the club, and they will get listed there first when they come on the market. You'll find a link to the Oil Rag on their website, http://thebmcnc.com/

There's an MGA listed there now, with a link to a consignment business in Lyons, but it has some rust, so is probably not what you want.

apparently nobody's serious about selling their mga. Must be attributable to the Denver donkeys unanticipated and--for some--unimaginable loss.
