I was in an IKEA ONE time. I couldn't figure out how to get out! Never again!

If you haven't already post up in the Rocky Mountain Regional Thread:

You'll get a lot more exposure that way. G'luck, and have fun!

1st there, and last to leave the 2014 Airhead Tech day in Centennial, CO.

- New fork seals.
- New fork boots.
- New fork oil.
- New headlight ears (to replace the cheap-o cafe ones).
- Oil change.
- Valves adjusted.
- Carbs tuned/synced.

I'm sure I'm missing some other things we did. A special thanks goes out to Plaka for being so willing to walk me through everything. I still can't quite believe the bike looked like that at one point and I rode it home. I came with a laundry list, and got it all done and then some. My only regret is that I didn't get to mingle as much, and drool over the other bikes/take pics. So the plan next year is to come with less work to do and more time to do all that.

It was a great day though. Learned more than I thought, and the bike is riding like a dream now. I can't believe how much better the front end feels. The PO put in some pretty hefty preload spacers (probably to help carry the fairing I no longer have on the bike). Wit those out it rides amazingly. Here's an album with all the photos I did manage to take (you can see the spacers there):

Thanks again to everyone who helped.

Oh and speaking of Ikea. I figured out the trick, take the Mrs there on the back of the bike and leave your bags/cases at home. They can't buy anything, but they still enjoy the ride:

Hey hey!

Old Bike Night @ GB Fish n Chips in Edgewater is this Thursday. These are every month on the first thursday. Super fun!

I make it to most of them, and last year I was typically the only Airhead in the mix. Let's see if we can have an Airhead takeover this year!

Come on out and show off your bike!

Thanks for the tip on the Old Bike night. Having owned a '65 /2, '70 50/5 and a '74 90/6, I recently got a '80 R100RT to join my newer Oilhead. It's not ready for primetime yet, but I should be riding it this Summer and will try to keep this in mind.

Hey Jenna, is the high country going to be snow free that time of the year? Have a fun trip and bring your GoPro!

Probably not....were going to leave them till the end of the trip. Starting in Telluride and head south to 4 corners, then north in UT. We're prepared to bypass them..

Just picked up a 1976 R90/6 and am in the Denver area. Looking forward to meeting some of the local airhead people. Question for now, what's a good shop in the Denver area that stocks parts like air and oil , brake pads, etc...

http://www.euromotoelectrics.com/ is in town, right next door to Wit's End brewing, near Federal and 2nd Ave. Order online and choose "pick up" and they'll have it ready for you.

Welcome to the Airhead addiction.

Yea, I can vouch for EME. They are super nice, and it's a great way to get what you need without paying shipping. They also showed up at the Centennial Tech day with tons of free schwag. I left with a tshirt, an air filter, and an oil filter. Pretty sweet.

As for other parts... I order online, but mainly because I spend my entire life on a computer and randomly remember I need "XYZ". So I just order it before I forget again that I need it, haha.
