** RELLA-VOUS III 2014: Let's have some pie **

It's not too early to begin planning our riding events for this year. Mike (pnoman) usually does the planning for the Rella's get together but he has a lot on his plate this year, so I'll give it a shot.

Please RSVP for SATURDAY August 9 or SATURDAY September 6 or both. Let's have a great turnout again this year. THANKS!

Thanks, Delane, for taking the torch.

Here's a link to last year's shindig for those that missed it:

Let's hope the snow melts soon!

We're in - for at least one of them.

I also added it to the Google Calender

IMHO - we need to (some how) settle on one (1) date.

While I'm sure Rella (and Jeaneace) enjoy frequent company and business, the two dates last year didn't seem to maximize the impact of one large group coming together for them, or to us as patrons to where we could also enjoy each others company en mass..

That's my .02. I will try and make whichever date is settled on.

Flame suit on.............

You're right Guy but with so many local riders working weekends - often alternate weekends - the thought was to give everyone a chance.

I remember going to one three or four years ago that tied in with a COG ride and over three hours there were close to 50 of us that showed up.

I stopped by Friday afternoon and the place was closed and looked like it had been for a while. Is Rella's closed for the season?

Diner is closed!

NOTICE - END OF AN ERA

RELLA'S DINER IS CLOSED.

I called Rella this morning and she said there was not enough business to pay the bills, so the diner is closed. (Moment of silence, please.) There is another lady who is renting the old diner trailer and may open another diner soon.

However...... Rella hinted that we might still be able to enjoy her cooking by this summer. Sorry - sworn to secrecy. Rest assured, though, if her plans come through, we will be able to still enjoy her culinary skills once again.

Stay tuned.

Oh man I'm sorry. I was hoping that wasn't the case.

This is sad news, but in our hearts I think we all knew that it was inevitable. I'm really surprised she's hung in there as long as she has.

All we can do now is wait and see if something happens later this year. You know I'll be there.

Well that does suck.

Hopefully when spring arrives she can make another go of it.
