Cry Most memorable diner ever

Sad to hear she was having troubles, hope she can get things back up and running!

Rella recon mission.

Good news! Rella is open for business.
She just opened yesterday. She is doing great. She wouldn't let me take her picture. Said her hair was a mess.

The place looks the same...

...and the inside is pretty much back in order and cleaned. She had leased it out to another person for around 3 months. Let's just say, things didn't work out. She had quite a mess to clean up. It was known as the "Mountainside Cafe" during this time.

The pie fridge is stocked again...

... and the food was awesome! Chili and cornbread. Mmmmm!!

And of course, a piece of Graham Cracker pie!

She said to tell everyone hello and hopes to see everyone again soon. She also wanted to let everyone know her new phone number. I promised I would get the word out.

Till next time,

Thanks, Steve, for the recon. Glad to hear she is back!

I'm looking at the diner and something is missing - A SIGN! What would you guys think about pitching in and having one of those vinyl banner signs made that could attach to the end of the building outside - like that big empty space beneath the kitchen exhaust fan. Maybe one for the south end of the building too. I'm thinking a 3' X 5' banner sort of like the old sticker. Could be attached with some discreet clear cord (AKA 50-Lb fishing line) or something similar.

Want me to inquire?

See what it will cost. If reasonable enough, I'm in.

Might want to check with the County first just to make sure they don't have some ordnance regarding signage/advertising on structures situated along a highway ((size, location, etc.).

Yeah, I know... it's WV, but they may have something in place regarding such things.

Nothing that I know of. If anyone complains just park a car on blocks next to the building and paint "Rella's" on the side.
They won't say a word then.

I'll pitch in for a sign too.

Anyone interested in a ride for pie Saturday?
