My trick is staying upright and on the bike.

Wicked

There's also an offroad moto school in SoCal for anyone thata way. I've took it last year with my gf. Ya, ya, she made me take it with her!

Lotsa fun(especially when the instructor let mt me ride his YZ 450F at the end of the day.) Wheelies sure were fun to do!
He asked me "How does the 450 compare to the factory YZ 465/H's you raced back in 1981?" Power was quite similar but the 450F was much more tractable. Still found out just how out of shape I am...

I should be going, will be riding my F800 in preparation for Noobs Rally. I have upgraded suspension and what not so hopefully it won't suck too much on a big bike.

As long as the weather stays dry, I am there

You'll do fine! Looks like only a 10% chance of rain right now but by next Wed or Thurs. we should have a pretty accurate forecast. If it's raining I'll reschedule for either Feb. 23rd or March 9th.

Just one of those things where I didnt stick the landing.

RESCHEDULED !!! SUNDAY FEBRUARY 23RD
Well now the forecast has been updated and it looks
like it's going to be kinda wet all next week. Riding in
the mud is certainly a skill to learn but I don't think
we want to do the whole class in the mud
so here it is again:

Learn the skills and gain confidence to become a better rider.
What does it take to become a better rider? Well there's no better teacher than experience and this course is designed to give you the tools to make you a better rider every time you ride, conquer obstacles and ride with confidence.
Part 1 of the 3 part course will be held on the Wendt Racing property in the foothills East of Chico CA. This is a great secluded location with a variety of terrain and is the perfect training area for building your Off Road riding skills. The class will begin at 10:00 am.
( check in 9:30 ) Lunch is include, and we should finish up at about 4:00 pm. Cost for part 1 is $75.00 per rider. All riders must have complete protective riding gear, Helmet, eye protection, chest protector, riding boots, knee and elbow guards, etc.

You were able to keep the Mountain Lions at bay while you worked?

Didn't really mention the local Mountain Lions, might scare off the guys who wanted to camp the night before.
