Pictures!

If you don't see yourself, let me know what you were riding and wearing and I'll see what we can dig up...

Super Sherpa flight (he had maybe 10 hours of TOTAL riding time before this):

BRP love

Big bikes too

Cheater bikes

Doug showing off

Awesome job for having never stood up before

Learning on the KDX before jumping back on the KLR

Thanks again to everyone for the awesome attitudes!

Thanks Joel, for all your help and posting the pictures! Jeri didn't really get my camera figured out plus she was busy taking care of lunch, etc.

We had a great group of beginner riders who did a fantastic job. Everyone out there was a noticeably better rider by the end of the day and seeing the new level of skill and confidence was very rewarding to myself and the other 4 instructor. Thank you all for coming.

Part 2 of our Beginner Off Road training is scheduled for Sunday, March 16th. if the weather is bad that weekend we'll reschedule to the 23rd and so on. The location of the next class will also be dictated by the weather but it will be in the foothills East of Chico or Oroville, I've got a few great spots picked out.
Part 2 will recap what we learned in part 1, riding position, balance, weight transfer, etc. and then move onto riding condition and obstacles you'll find on most Dual Sport rides. We'll focus on picking the proper line, stream crossings, rock gardens, riding in sand and gravel, etc. We'll also spend a short time on trail side repair and fixing a flat tire. It's guaranteed to be a fun and informative day. To sign up follow this link, http://shop.ironmandualsport.com/pro...5&categoryId=2
This class will require a plated bike. Any questions or additional info just let me know, email, bob@ironmandualsport.com
Thanks Bob

Here's a couple of pictures I did manage to get,

Amazing what you can do with a little confidence.

Thanks for putting together a great day of learning, Bob And a very special thanks to Joel for all his patience and encouragement for this old fart trying to get his off-road act together. The true test of how successful the day was came when riding out from the training area to the highway...my confidence level was so much higher that when I reached the pavement I was disappointed!
See you in March.

miksail, thanks for joining us for the class! It was a great class with a great group of guys. The final test of the day was getting out of Randy's driveway, so you passed with flying colors. Look forward to seeing you in March.

Hobbes950, I like your ride reports. I usually make it through High Rock Canyon a few times every year. You should have no problem missing the first class, and I'm hoping to see more big bikes, Hope you can make it. Bob

3 of us including Bob went out and pre-rode/scouted areas for this class today, beautiful day out on bikes! Bob impressed as usual with his one handed 70mph wheelies while passing trucks on hiway 70,he scares the heck out of the rest of us but seems to have fun.

Hi BoB, the paypal payment option isn't working for me. It doesn't like my Canadian-ness. lol.

Mind if I just bring 75$ for class on Sunday? If that's OK, can you send me the details?

Thanks,
Mark
