Another tire supply option.

So, talking with a tire supplier in Montreal, he seems to be interested in what we want to see on his site in the way of tires. I'm in no way tied to this person. I just would like to see more option in Canada for tires.

the site is. http://www.petes-superbike.com/index.php

so post your favorite rubber and hopefully he follows what we are looking for..

spam maybe, building our options absolutely ...

Mitas

I'm riding on Mitas E-09 in the front and E-07 in the rear. So far it's a great combination for the 50/50 riding I've done. Great for old abandoned logging roads and handles the rain ok on the highway. So far got about 3500km and will probably get another 3500 out of them before I change them out.

My experience with Pete a couple yrs ago was not a good one. I'm sure I just caught him on a bad day,,,,but it was fucked up enough for me to not bother anymore. I wish you good luck.

He's been the guy to go to for street tires for a couple of years now.

Mitas is single source: mx1canada for here and the US.

DSP for the rest of adv rubber.

Moto-Inter has good prices for TKC's

I have had great success with mx1, great tires and service. Buddy took a few knobbies off a new set and they sent him a new on free. As for shipping it is free over 100 and there pieces are good.

I have been very happy with Pete's. I dont remember what I paid for shipping, but I am presuming it was nothing out of line for what you would pay any place else.

Bought from both Pete's and MX1Canada and had great experiences with both... But really happy Mitas so I guess I'll be sticking with MX1.

I ordered some street tires from them, after I called to ask what the date of mfg was to see how fresh they were. Order guy was good to deal with. Tires came 'as is', so luckily it didn't look like they were stacked at the bottom of a pile along the way.
Even cheaper tire orders in the US came with cardboard stuffed in to keep their shape and plastic wrapped. Must be the greener way to ship in canada eh ?

Pete's sells TKC's way cheaper than their competitors....they have been my go to place for tires they stock. DSP for my Dunlops.

Some places in Quebec I have used include free installation and balancing with tire purchases...awesome!

I've been buying tires at Pete's for years. As good of prices as US plus no border BS and I have them at my door in a few days. I give them 5 out of 5 stars.

I just checked Pete's - for an 18" Michelin T-63 rear for the WR250R, they charge $19 shipping. Tire price is pretty darn good for Canada ($77). With HST, $108 all-in. If I add a front tire, the shipping goes up to $25.

I bought the same size T-63 in the US from Motorcycle Superstore in 2012 for $61, free shipping, no tax. Shipping is a killer here, compounded by paying 13% tax on it.
