101st Sticker
Thanks for displaying the 101st Patch.
My dad was part of the original Easy Company of the 101st in 1943. He dropped into Normandy behind Omaha Beach and was in the flooded swamps for 3 days. Went into Belgium in a Glider Walked to Bastonge (sp) in the Snow, waved at George Patton and his tanks as they rolled though on their way to Berlin. Ended his term in the 101st at BerchastGarden (sp). Came Home, joined the National Guard and went to Korea. Finished up his 25 in Saigon with the 101st. It would make him proud to know that the Eagle is being displayed by another generation of Americans. Thanks for serving. Airborne All the Way !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for noticing the 101st Airborne Division decal. I served during '89-92 and deployed to Saudi Arabia & Iraq during Desert Storm. We ended up having it much easier than the troops today or in many periods of the past. I'm glad to hear some of you know a little of the rich history of the 101st. I display the sticker proudly. Thanks!
