Yeah..there are qualifying races in afternoon to make " the main show "..but the main heat races start at 7.

I assume backpacks are OK to bring in?? I want to bring my good camera for this, and would like to have it and some other crap in my back pack.

Anyone got the 411 on this?

Cool I just got asked this question and it came in handy. Looks like backpacks can only be 12"x12"x12"

Yeah, that is my lunch box...LOL

I was gonna bring backpack with good DSLR camera, but it looks like unless I want to carry it alone with strap, I am SOL. P&S cam it is.

im going with a couple of friends. we got 58$ seats, I have no idea where they are though. ill probably get there early to do a bit of tailgating.

Factory-sealed, plastic bottles of water or soft drinks that are 20 oz. or less in size
Still-photography cameras with a lens that is 6" or less in length
Ponchos, jackets or blankets after being patted down or searched
Hand-held banners or signs (please see below restrictions)
All permitted items will be inspected prior to entry.
Signs/banners may not be mounted to a pole or a stick or be commercial in nature. During the event, signs must be hand-held and cannot be attached to or hung from any Stadium surface. Signs or any type of lights that are deemed to be unsafe, inappropriate or are displayed/used in a way that interferes with the enjoyment of the event by others (i.e. obstructing one’s view) will be subject to confiscation or being discarded.
Guests MAY NOT carry-in the following items:
Umbrellas
Bags or purses larger than 12” x 12” x 12” in size or any size hard-sided container
Cameras with a lens longer than 6” in length
Single-purpose video cameras
Alcoholic beverages of any kind
Laser pointers, noisemakers, flashlights or fireworks

All guests at MetLife Stadium are encouraged to:
Respect each other as well as our stadium team members
Consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner
Refraining from fighting, throwing items or using foul/abusive language or gestures
Keep MetLife Stadium SMOKE-FREE by only smoking on the plaza near the stadium gates.
Guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest Guest or Safety Services Representative, any Guest Services Booth or through our text messaging service. Guests should address the text message to 78247 and type the word “MLS” followed by the request and location.
Getting to the Event
Parking lots open at 11:00 a.m. The parking fees are $30 per car, $90 per bus or RV. Pre-paid parking permits are NOT required.
Please note RV’s will be parked along the curb line in the lot closest to where they enter the MetLife Sports Complex or in Lot L.
If driving to the concert:
DO pay attention to the message boards en route to the Stadium
DO plan to carpool. Fewer cars that drive in will make it faster, especially if parking becomes limited.
DO NOT rely on GPS devices as routes may be adjusted and diverted to accommodate traffic congestion
Tailgating is permitted in all lots. Please be considerate of your fellow ticket holders when tailgating: ONE CAR = ONE SPACE.
The saving of parking spaces will not be permitted. Groups desiring to tailgate together should arrive together.

Got my tickets in the mail!! Going to test the 6" lenses rule, it is 7". First time I will ever say it is smaller then it is
