"That would be great!! However late April…. snow can be a factor. "

Ya, but if the Victory can do 6" of fresh snow on Poncha Pass in a whiteout then I think we can make it!

The last couple of years I've gone down to Rick's via Salida, Poncha Pass, Wolf Creek, and 84 to 64.
Or via La Manga and Cumbres Passes.

Still snow on Wolf Creek, but roads were good.

This year could be different for sure - but I never head for Wolf Creek without checking first

2010 Cumbres/LaManga to Rick's

2012 Wolf Creek to Rick's

Last year I rode the TR650 down....via Ft. Garland, Questa, Taos...and apparently didn't get my camera out

Buster said I might attend if a suitable warm bodied pillow is willing to serve during my absence

J will be in Iowa handling his "Son Do" list for his 87 year-old mother. So I think I might go solo, or go with the Colorado contingent.

I have yet to meet the famous Capt Rick

But this seems like a good time for it. Ok for a rider from Duke City to join? Can bring some items to add to the menu.

Last week New Mexico Trail Boss invited me to join him at the famous Capt.Ricks Bar B Que and I was excited Unfortunately we will be out of town that weekend. I would like to send something for the dirt riders. I would like to send 50 pairs of Pro Taper or MSR Grips with some other goodies, this is just a very small way to say thank you for asking me to your event and for supporting our flattrack racing all these years.
