Riding to a bike festival in Mazatlan is THE way to exit the dentist's chair.

Thanks for explaining all of that. In the US, we don't get many advantages for having survived 60+ years. I had one younger guy bitch cause I was drawing Social Security. He thought it was some form of welfare. Friggin idiot didn't realize I had paid into it for 47 years before I ever drew a damn dime out!

Ouch. I hope removing that tooth was actually needed!

"nothing exceedingly difficult about working on teeth" I was a dental technician for about 7 years, building crowns and bridges.

Some of the dentists we did work for made it look exceedingly difficult to work on teeth every time they did it. Some are indeed klutzes but still do tons of work anyway, its good to know your dentist, and if he builds you a crown and it needs adjusting over and over and maybe re-doing,hes not talented. Like doctors its a closely kept secret amongst them selves if they arent good at what they do,hard to find out who's good or bad.

painless dentistry

My dentist Geraldo made it as painless as possible. I am experiencing only mild discomfort some 12 hours later. I left Monterrey this afternoon. Arrived in Torreon just before darkand got a room at the Best Western. I will arrive in Mazatlan about noon. I plan to meet up with another inmate name Ron who is an expat from Nashville. I plan to explore the west coast for a few days and hope to do some camping if I can find 2 trees to tie my hammock up to. Then I plan to turn inland and check out some great mountain roads which FlyingTivo has suggested to me. The toll road from Monterrey to Torreon was very straight with mostly just desert to look at. I am sure tomorrow will be better. The majesty is running like a Champ, now over 2200 miles logged on this trip.

postcards from the pacific ocean

I made it to the west coast. Sitting at a restruant and looking out over the pacific.
This is what it is all about. The shoreline in Mazatlan is beautiful at night.
I am a lucky man. This place gives me a good feeling. I will hang out here for a few days

If you get a chance, head on down to Puerto Vallarta for a few days. Pm me for some recommendations.

Actually Scuba long makes a good point. I don't believe they do any Carnival activities in Vallarta. So you might want to stick around Mazatlan and maybe leave Wednesday.

The biggest carnaval in Mexico starts here this weekend.
You're on the wrong coast.
