The hamburgler suite at San Francisquito.I named it this because of the old McDonalds curtins on the front windows.I guess some storms blew the cabins out a few years back and this is the newest cabin.I had dinner with Harrold-a retired guy that lives in a house about 1/4 mile south.Should of got his pic but I was drinking beer

The best beaches in Baja are the beaches that are a little work to get to.

Magoo and I were stopped on Coyote Trail yesterday after a wonderful single track bout. We stopped and talked at length about your report, misfortunes and ride back north. Thanks for the offer, I'll leave in the morning.

Ride on and be safe.

Actually this report is about %30-%40 complete.I have been posting a few pics a day.The time away from home was 3 weeks.I type slow so I usually just put enough words in to explain the pic.Its hard to get riding shots by yourself.I think most inmates like less reading but I am open to positive suggestions.Keep watching this post-it should get better.More inmates involved.

This is the 4th day on the road-a little reminder that you will get some problems.Like my electrical going dead. The Honda XRR has separate systems for ignition and +12v.Found a broken ground wire at a bullet connector under the seat.

Rancho Piedra Blancas-I stopped here for a coke.Probably the newest-nicest rancho for miles-but its not on the beach. There are some cave paintings near by but I didnt stop.About 30 miles west of San Francisquito.

I missed a left hand turn at El Arco and headed straight to hwy 1.Here is where the dirt riders will cry foul.I rode pavement for 2 days.I ride where I feel like-sometimes on the sidewalk.I was pushing my luck with my gas capacity-no gas purchased since the Bay of La.Vizcaino was about 25 miles south.I got gas(92 octane) and pesos there. After that I rode to San Ignacio for a late lunch/dinner.

The bar at Rice and Beans has alot of racing memorabilia in it.I had a little discussion with Riccardo(the owner) about big business from other countries buying up natural resources like fish and not leaving anything for the mexican citizens.
